Dafydd (and his piano) presented two series for C2, Radio Cymru (the national Welsh-language radio station).

Amidst the show’s various sections were: ‘Who’s in the closet?’, which saw Dafydd attempting to guess his invisible guest through asking a series of; ‘Jôcpot’, a parody of the Welsh-language quiz ‘Jacpot’; and ‘Mam-gu’s Slot’, where Dafydd would chat with his actual Grandma at the end of each show to hear her opinion on what she had heard.

In addition the voice of the ‘Grumpy Man’, the legendary Beti George and the vocal group ‘Y Petalau’ (The Petals) kept him company on every show.

He interviewed many Welsh-language celebrities including Alwyn Humphries, Tara Bethan, Shan Cothi, Stifyn Parri, Margaret Williams and Jenny Ogwen.

Many of them sang a medley with Dafydd by the piano before joining in the show’s theme tune (composed by Dafydd) at the end of the show!

Bu Dafydd (â’i biano) yn cyflwyno dwy gyfres o’i raglen radio ar C2, Radio Cymru.

Ymhlith adrannau gwahanol y sioe roedd ‘Pwy Sy’n Cuddio yn y Cwpwrdd’, lle bu rhaid i Dafydd ddyfalu drwy gwestiynu gwestai ‘anweledig’; ‘Jôcpot’, parodi o’r raglen ‘Jacpot’; a ‘Slot Mam-gu’, lle bu Dafydd yn sgwrsio gyda’i fam-gu go iawn ar ddiwedd bob raglen i glywed ei barn am y sioe.

Hefyd roedd lleisiau’r ‘Dyn Blin’, y chwedlonol Beti George a’r grwp lleisiau ‘Y Petalau’ yn cadw cwmni iddo bob raglen.

Ymhlith ei westeion dros y ddwy gyfres bu Alwyn Humphries, Tara Bethan, Shan Cothi, Stifyn Parri, Margaret Williams a Jenny Ogwen.

Bu nifer ohonynt yn canu medli gyda Dafydd o gylch y piano ac yn ymuno yng nghân y sioe (cyfansoddwyd gan Dafydd) ar ddiwedd y raglen!
