Dafydd joined the writing team for Gwaith/Cartref (Home/Work) to storyline season 2, and has since written 10 episodes of the incredibly popular series, including its final episode.

As well as his cameo appearance as Mr Deiniol, a primary school teacher, in Episode 6, Dafydd also composed a special song ‘Y Ffin’ for the emotional final episode (see below).

The series follows a gang of teachers, living and working in the Welsh capital. By day they work together in a Welsh language high school but by night their disparate personal lives are scattered across the city.

Rhian Blythe one a BAFTA for her portrayal of one of the series’ lead characters:  Grug Mathews. The series also won the Best Drama Category at the Celtic Media Awards, 2013.

Yn ogystal ag ymddangos mewn rôl cameo fel ‘Mr Deiniol’, athro ysgol gynradd, ym mhennod 6, cyfansoddodd Dafydd y gân ‘Y Ffin’ ar gyfer y bennod emosiynol olaf.

Mae’r gyfres yn dilyn grŵp o athrawon, sy’n byw ac yn dysgu yn y brifddinas. Maent yn rhannu eu dyddiau gwaith mewn ysgol gyfun Gymraeg, a gyda’r nos, mae eu bywydau personol cymhleth yn mynd ar wasgar ar draws y ddinas.

Ennillod Rhian Blythe wobr BAFTA am ei phortread o un o brif gymeriadau’r gyfres: Grug Mathews. Mae’r gyfres hefyd wedi ennill Gwobr Cyfres Ddrama Orau yng Ngŵyl Cyfryngau Celtaidd, 2013.
